 HELIOS MISSION

HELIOS MISSION

Helios Boats is on a mission to deliver discriminating enthusiasts a boat that outperforms in the nastiest of conditions. So, hit wakes, skate over rough water, and turn tighter in a Helios. We blend thoughtful design, metallurgy, and technology into every boat we build. When compared to a traditional aluminum boat, a HELIOS will appear to be overbuilt. But when the water gets rough, you’ll realize the difference. Our boats may cost more than other aluminum boats, but the superiority is evident from you first time out. Test drive required

Don Masons
Don Masons
Engineering Director

Don Mason has worked as an engineer in the Marine Industry for over 24 years, but his involvement in boat building goes all the way back to his childhood as his father, Don Sr. spent his entire career designing and building boats. Don has built upon the family tradition, by utilizing technology to redefine production standards that deliver the stiffest pontoon chassis in the industry. During his 18 years at Harris Kayot, Don became an aluminum virtuoso, and took exception to the cost cutting sacrifices, demanded by the bean counters. He jumped at the chance to build a “no-excuses” pontoon for Helios. Don has several patents to his name and is valued as a collaborator with Mercury Marine on product integration and new product development. Every Helios Pontoon is a testament to the Mason name and the power of generational excellence.
